The Project S.O.N. Food Pantry is currently closed.
However, we will be hosting special food giveaway days throughout the winter season!  Be sure to check back periodically for updates.

Upon reopening, the Abiding Truth Ministries Project S.O.N. (Serving Our Neighborhood) Food Pantry will be open to the public.

Normal hours will be Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at 57th Street & Washington Ave.  Entry is on the Washington Avenue side of the building.

We will offer shelf-stable canned and boxed foods, produce, and frozen meats.

DONATIONS

The Abiding Truth Ministries Project S.O.N. Food Pantry is used to help feed families in our area all year round.

If you are interested in donating, please bring non-perishable food items to Abiding Truth Ministries Monday – Friday from 10:00am to 1:00pm or drop off items during Wednesday Night Bible Study (7:30-9pm) and Sunday morning service (9am-12pm).
NOTE: Drop-offs during Wednesday Night Bible Study and Sunday Services will resume after current social distancing orders have been lifted.

High-Priority Food Items

The list below includes some of the most needed items. Please bring products that are in boxes, cans, or plastic bottles and do not require refrigeration. Bread and baked goods are not ideal because of their short shelf life. All items should be recently purchased and in good condition.  Also, please check dates on all foods to make sure they are not expired.

  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Canned meats and fish
  • Jelly, jams or preserves
  • Canned or jarred proteins like peanut butter, beans, canned stews and chili
  • Pasta, rice & dry mixes (i.e. mashed potatoes)
  • Breakfast foods (hot & cold cereals, bars & oatmeal)

Download and print a more detailed list of needed foods.

Thank you always for your gracious and continued support.  God Bless.
