The Upgrade Ministry of Abiding Truth Ministries Church seeks to help each of us reach our highest potential in the areas of finances, careers and home improvement using biblical principles and a collective effort. In June 2025, we will bring our people together to celebrate our common heritage of endurance, strength and resilience. The Upgrade Ministry is bringing the Juneteenth Celebration to Southwest Philadelphia. We will introduce programs through which we will collectively upgrade our youth, our careers, and our neighborhoods. Come learn about the Youth Leadership Contest, the Career Advancement Network and the Rebuilding Together Coalition.

We invite you to become a Career Advancement Network member and attend the Juneteenth Celebration in-person. At Juneteenth, which will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12-3pm at Abiding Truth Ministries Church, the Network members will share with the public why they love what they do and how they became successful in their careers. You may encounter others at the event who share the same passion but who could use help learning how to get to a higher level. Network members are there to support. Share what you know! Submit an entry into the Career Advancement Handbook, a manual compiled by professionals from a variety of careers who want to help lay out paths to success. From college professors, to acrobats, to real estate investors, to interpreters, in this text, you will join in and share your tricks of the trade with those coming behind you so others can learn how you got to where you are. Each entry lets others know what works, and what doesn’t, so people can avoid the pitfalls as well as avoid reinventing the wheel. Share with others those lessons you wish someone would have taught you. The readers of the Handbook will flip through a variety of careers and get a preview of what to expect for each one.
