In Career Exploration 101, adolescent students will be introduced to a wide array of careers and the importance of being financially responsible. They will explore their interests and talents, and consider their desired professions for the future. They will research what might be needed to get into their field of choice and what would help them to be successful in that field. At the end of the course, the participants will attend a field trip in which they visit professional establishments where they can meet and interview professionals in their careers of choice.
Your Amazing Dream Home provides adolescents with exposure to home care, home design, architecture, interior and exterior residential upgrades, homeownership, real estate, and ways to be a good neighbor. As a class project, they will design their dream home using concepts taught during the course. The students will be introduced to basic terminology related to each topic.
