Rebuilding Together Coalition consists of a series of workshops and hands-on community-based learning projects that allow participants to apply lessons in real-world contexts. The participants take classes on neighborhood unity and community beautification. This helps to build relationships with neighbors and for people to take pride in our neighborhood and its appearance.
The Rebuilding Together Coalition workshops involve discussions on issues affecting the local community and collectively looking for solutions. The goal is to work on mind-shifting from old habits to new ways of looking at our community and our relationships with our neighbors. We hope to learn strategies that will help us trust our neighbors more and gain insight into some ways we can become more trustworthy as well. We will practice teamwork, explore actions that help the community and compare them to actions that help individuals only.
